   青竹是个历史悠久、山岭连绵、群山起伏、云雾缭绕、山清水秀、风光旖旎、林木葱郁的小村庄，位于庆元县东部，瓯江源头，地处东经119度17分北纬27度34分，海拨980米，始于明洪武二年。公元1369年置村，清代属庆元县二都，民国属双竹乡，民末至1992年一直是乡政府所在地。双苗尖景区公路穿村而过，正是这样一座有着悠久历史文化背景的村庄，蕴育生长出原生态的有机产品。
