端面铣床分类及它们的主要用途：

不同端面铣床的主要用途：

Different uses for face milling machine.

卧式升降台铣床使用于加工平面、沟槽、阶台、成形面、离合面、花键和直齿轮等，但不能用盘形铣刀加工螺旋槽和螺旋面。

卧式万能升降台铣床的主要特征是纵向工作台能回转，其回转角一般为45度；其他与卧式升降台铣床相同。

立式升降台端面铣床的主要特征是主轴轴线与工作台面垂直，目前制造的立式升降台是铣床的立铣头大多能回转，回转角一般为45度

龙门铣床的主要特征是；工作台只能作纵向进给，横向和垂向运动由移动铣头或主轴套完成；一般有几个铣头。

万能工具铣床的柱要特征是具有水平主轴和垂直主轴，且主轴能回转；工作台区具有一般升降台端面铣床的运动外，还带有万能角度工作台和圆形工作台。

半自动平面仿形铣床的主要特征是具有半自动化，能按照仿形装置靠模在平面内运动，仿形加工零件的曲线轮廓面。

端面铣床的加工范围：

端面铣床加工范围大，适用于铸件、钢件等金属材料的端面切削，广泛应用于机械制造业。特别适用于模具业、塑料模架边框的平面铣削，可对超长工件两端面进行铣削、钻孔、镗孔等特型面加工。 端面铣床可铣削工件平面，倒角加工梯形面及T型槽，钻孔可达到φ50mm，镗孔可达到φ400mm。加装支承滑台后可对超长工件两端面进行铣削、手动钻孔、镗孔及特型面加工，铣削力强，可满足零件的加工要求。工作台移动采用行星齿轮箱变速，操作灵活简便。立柱升降采用配重卸荷装置，上下移动轻松，既延长了丝杠的寿命，又使切削平稳。铣削采用斜齿轮传动，切铣面精度高，噪音低，安装变频装置后可实行无级变速。整机刚性强，不易损坏，维修方便，端面铣床功能多样，几何尺寸大，是机械加工的理想设备。
