Three cell pack Lithium 10.8V replaces 3HAC13150-1， 3HAB999-1， 3HAC16831-1   They are suitable for replacing batteries from most ABB robot types. ABB typically use one of the larger battery packs in the robot arm itself to back up the SMB (serial measurement board).    This is the standard fitment SMB backup battery on all robots from S3 to S4C+. It is also used as a backup on 7th axis SMB boards.   
  Battery life expectancy depends on how often the robot is switched off and for how long. The ABB robots use volatile memory that requires a constant power source to maintain data. Given the price of the batteries and the cost of reloading or losing data and programs we would recommend checking the batteries every year and replacing every 2years.
