Anacardic acid

Cell permeable salicylic acid analog that acts as a potent， non-competitive inhibitor of p300 and PCAF (p300/CBP-associated factor) histone acetyltransferase (HAT) activities (IC₅₀~8.5µM and ~5µM， respectively). Displays a variety of other biological activities， such as antibacterial， antimicrobial， prostaglandin synthase inhibition， tyrosinase， and lipoxygenase inhibition.Inhibits SUMOylation of RanGAP1-C2  with an IC₅₀  = 2.2µM
