一、瓷砖的标准及定义：
瓷 砖-EN 14411
以耐火的金属氧化物及半金属氧化物，经由研磨、混合、压制、施釉、烧结之过程，而形成之一种耐酸碱的瓷质或石质等之建筑或装饰之材料。

二、瓷砖划分系列标准：
1，是否带釉面，
2，同样的生产工艺，相同材质，相同吸水率和使用方法，不同的规格和颜色可划分为一个系列。

三、瓷砖测试中所涉及的项目：
1，dimension tolerance 尺寸偏差
2，surface quality 表面质量
3，water absorption 吸水率
4，breaking strength 破坏强度
5，modulus of rupture 断裂模数
6，resistance to abrasion 耐磨性
7，thermal shock resistance 抗热震性
