该灯具外壳由铝材铸造并且增加散热翼，密封件由耐热橡胶密封圈构成。由于增加了散热翼，所以在火灾危险场所不易因为灯具温度过高造成电路燃烧或短路。

灯具配光曲线宽，棱晶玻璃罩减少眩光。灯具与镇流器控制盒一体化，检修换灯方便。
